Reiki and Rituals

Reiki needs no ritual, but perhaps we do.Reiki itself, by that I mean spiritual energy, or soul energy, requires no ritual. How can it? Spiritual, or soul, energy transcends any requirement of any kind.  But, Reiki practice, like any practice, requires consistency and reverence on the part of the practitioner. And that is where ritual may find a place, for the goal of ritual is to transform the mind and heart of the individual. It is quite possible that ritual is a human need as humans have sought ways of deepening their self-awareness in all times and places.
We have all been to Reiki Shares, or similar gatherings, where Reiki treatments are offered to others, and observed our fellow practitioners performing ritual, ceremony, or preparation of some kind before beginning the treatment. Some of us, in our Reiki training, learned to perform a ritual before offering a Reiki session to self or others. I am not referring here to group ritual and ceremony, but rather to solo rituals performed prior to placing hands on the Reiki recipient.  These rituals may be carried out in a communal setting, such as at a Reiki Share, Clinic, or wellness event, or may be performed in the privacy of a Reiki treatment room in one’s own Reiki business. Either way, I am referring to individual ritual performance.
Yes, many times we Reiki practitioners will simply place our hands on ourselves or others without performing any inward or outward ritual whatsoever. There are times and places, and certain contexts in which we do not feel moved to perform ritual, or circumstances do not permit us to do so. Yet if one is inclined to free the heart and mind of mundane or negative thoughts and feelings prior to offering a Reiki treatment, ritual provides a means of doing so.
A ritual act, like the practice of Reiki itself, allows us to bypass the everyday ‘thinking head.’ Through ritual, we are able to pause long enough to touch our inner being and access profound parts of ourselves.  This awakened self-awareness expands outward and we feel a deep sensation of unity and connectedness with the eternal, with the sacred, and with our Reiki recipient. Ritual provides us with a structure we can return to over and over again to focus our attention on our inner work with Reiki practice and on the work we do with others.
If we choose to perform rituals as part of our Reiki practice, we should know who we are, what we are doing, and why we are doing it. Ritual done for the sake of dogma, obligation, or because someone else told us to, may not honor our practice. Ritual is meant to be an honest and ethical expression of our values and principles. We can ask ourselves what our motives are for performing our ritual: Am I performing my ritual to focus my attention in the moment? Is it to open myself to all that is? Is it to access my intuition for the upcoming Reiki session? Is it to remind me of some eternal truth or principle? Is it to honor Sensei Usui and my teachers? Let us know why we are performing our rituals, so they are not merely habits or dry, rigid prescriptions.
Should we choose the way of ritual, the teachings of the system of Reiki provide us with all we need. Daily self-Reiki can easily be recognized as a ritual. Working conscientiously with the Reiki Precepts is also a ritual in itself. Then there are the Reiki meditations, which allow us to be more fully aware of our own Reiki (spiritual, or soul, energy) and that of the world around us.

  2. First say your name and then say – please wake me up at – the required time- feeling energetic and refreshed.
  3. Now, mentally draw SEI HEI KEI and repeat the name of the symbol thrice.

The 12 Colour Reiki Pill Technique

Since coming across the 12 colour meditation,I was inspired to use it within my Reiki practice for both myself and my Reiki clients. I have already been using colours with my Reiki channelling and chakra balancing work, but the moment I learnt this simple yet powerful meditation technique, I instantly visualised it as a perfect, compact slow release Reiki healing pill, slowly and continuously releasing Reiki and enhancing the fundamental colours present in every healthy cell in our body as well as mind and spirit.
Also known as the Mind-Body-Spirit Integration Meditation, the 12 color meditation, simply and powerfully balances our mind, body and spirit simultaneously. The 12 colours are divided into inner and outer colours. Each color surrounds the next in layers and each layer is linked and works in harmony with each other. They are:

Inner Colours

- Expand from the center to fill all space within your body and just beyond the skin in this order:
White – core life force energy. If there is no white, there is no life.
Violet - Spirit. Intuition, link to the source of all life.
Indigo – Facilitates communication between spirit and body via the senses. Inner awareness of the physical body, link between physical and spiritual realms.
Metallic copper – Governs the neurological and cardiovascular systems.
Metallic silver – Governs bones, teeth , tendons, muscles, cartilages and nails.
Metallic gold – Governs the functions of all the organs, glands, soft tissues, skin, hair, eyes.

Outer Colours

- Like a sea of colour, they flow from outside the body into its center, filling it and enveloping it in layers in this order:
Yellow - Holds the vibration of internal alignment with that which brings you the deepest sense of wellbeing. Spiritual integrity helps maintain the desire to live.
Emerald Green – Supports the emotional body in matters of self-love, self-worth and self-esteem.
Cyan – helps you speak your deepest truth, aligns your thoughts with your heart.
Saffire Blue – link between brain and mind, creative thinking, ideas, spontaneity.
Magenta - compassion, universal love.
Mother of Pearl – outermost field of the body, protective field.

The preparation of the 12 colour of slow release Reiki pill is just as simple as the meditation:
  1. Visualise a small Reiki pill, filled with unlimited, self generating amounts of Reiki.
  2. Just as you would visualise the colours filling your body in the meditation, first visualise the 6 inner colours beaming from the center of the pill and filling all the space inside it and then creating a layer of each colour from the center of the pill to its edge, one at a time in the following order: white, violet, indigo, metallic copper, metallic, silver, metallic gold.
  3. Do the same for the outer colour, changing the direction of the colours from the outside into the center of the pill, like an ocean, filling it and enveloping it layer by layer with the outer colours in the following order: yellow, emerald green, cyan, safire blue, magenta and mother of pearl.
  4. Once all 12 colours are placed and evenly bright, insert Reiki symbols inside it, if you feel inclined to do so. You can insert whichever symbol you are drawn to at the time, and as many as you are guided to.
  5. Ask your Reiki guides and masters your work with, and the Universe to charge the pill with infinite amounts of Reiki and for it to release continuously and gradually in just the right amount for the receiver’s highest good for the next 24 hours.
  6. The pill is now ready! It looks very much like the energetic blueprint of a healthy cell. Visualise it descending through the crown of the person into the hara, just below the belly button, where it will slowly release Reiki and boost each and every colour in their body enhancing their blueprint for perfect health.

Reiki & Astrology

Many seem to agree on the fact that astrology is often considered a spooky practice and suffers from lack of credibility by tenets of scientific practices. Whether stigmatisation is scientifically based, voluntarily or not, the very fact of considering astrology a non-scientific practice is equivalent to a denial of its origins in astronomy, which is a scientifically acclaimed theory connected to astro-physics. Maybe the fact that mainstream-astrology-as-we-know-it tends to break down complex formula of planetary movements into simple reader-friendly literature probably disturbs the so-called scientific crowd. Alternatively, an over-simplification of astrology readings is perceived as charlatanism. Well this often applies to many practices beyond astrology as a matter of fact! The art of divination is invaluable though and even emperors kings, and political leaders of several centuries in a row used it and still use it to a certain extend as a way to add parameters to strategies and deal agreements. They may not admit it openly, though! There is a sort of accepted wisdom within astrology, regardless of what scientific tenets may or may not agree upon. Astrologers and healers alike put forward endeavor to describe and present the invaluable assets of their practice and in my view are allies in these efforts. Healers would go at great length to present to you the inherent value of wisdom within natural healing, likewise astrologers who would explain to you in details if you let them do so, the great benefits you can learn to observe in your life just by considering to give attention to planetary movements. Wisdom is an ability to see reality as it truly is in its essence and to uncover acceptance and interest in seeing reality as such. As a result a sense of well-ease [as opposed to dis-ease] will flow giving a sense of detachment from a self-centered experience. In other words, be conscious of creating a reality and detach from the sticky ego-label. Let’s clear the bush a bit on the connection between planetary movements and our life. First of all, astrology is a technique that uses astronomy data and scientific calculations to interpret the influence of planets on life and events. These influences can be measured, and astronomical events can be observed, some of them even at naked eye, such as eclipses. The fact that there is an interpretation to these events has often given astrological divination a sort of faith-based label. Believe it or not, indigenous populations in many parts of the world have come a long way in using these divinations for constructing complex cosmogony systems. Yet, those who criticised astrological interpretations as “possible truths” often tend to also deny that there are traditional ways in the human collective consciousness to refer to cultural habits that are deeply connected to the cycle of nature. Examples abound with agricultural crops – sowing seeds before full moon and not after respectively for some crops and not for others – traditional tales about having a haircut before a full moon to see them grow faster and after full moon if you don’t want that – animals are also known to be sensitive to full moons. In ancient India, the Vedic used to refer to the planets in their research on chakras, and resonance with human bodies and consciousness. Vedic astrology is strongly connected with natural healing techniques such as ayurveda and it is quite regular to have an ayurvedic doctor inquire about your astrological sign. In Ancient China, Emperors used to refer to the Yi-King and had their own personal astrologer to ponder about decisions on wars, agreements, land sale, auspicious days for trade deals, weddings, funerals and crops. The Buddhist calendar in South East Asian Countries such as Thailand, Lao and Cambodia is still part of daily life and rhythms holidays as much as the moon rhythms offerings to the temples. Islam also has its share of tales originating in astrological background. So mainly it is a form of intellectual supremacy of some sort that probably stigmatised “randomness” from main critical thinking trends over the years of evolution. Waiving consideration to holistic practices and astrology often goes hand in hand with rational thinking. Now let’s try to see how we can integrate them, instead.
Experience and observation may indeed provide invaluable insights on how to the combination of data may bring evidence of the connection between holistic therapeutic practices and the use of astrological tools. Some of these tools or parameters are (1) Calculation of the Rising Sign; (2) Positions of the houses or areas of the astrological chart that influence respectively some areas of life; (3) Positions of the Moon in the Sun sign and Rising sign; (4) Aspects between Sun and Moon with key planets; (5) Transits of planets at a certain time of life on the position of natal planets.
From our point of view, holistic practices call for stretching limits in many ways. It has little value to remain fixed in one’s own practice and it is far more enriching to develop a complete holistic perspective and consider a person as a hologram rather than a standardised human form of energy. Being involved with holistic practices is a fertile ground of experience and observation where each client is a different reality and a different system of bio-energy. This approach allows to explore the uniqueness of the person in many possible ways. The broader the mapping on the condition of the person, the greater the chances to compound it and treat it. Working by inclusiveness of practices is a great way to add value to any holistic practice. To illustrate this approach here are some tips on how to blend the wisdom of Reiki and Astrology:
1. Be as comprehensive as possible when meeting a client for the first time and taking in a preliminary briefing on the purpose of the visit, ask the person’s astrological sign and if known the rising sign which is calculated through the time and location of birth. This may result useful at later stage; 2. Whether you already have some knowledge on astrological data or not, you may find yourself in a situation where this could be useful to help your client through a situation. There also are good reliable sources on the internet where you can find basic data on Sun Signs and Rising Signs.
3. Particularly for non-physical overall situations, the fact of looking at astrological data, can give useful hints when drawing a map of the clients, situation for instance in relation to blockages, patterns of behaviour, dreams and ambitions. There are trends that are marked by some general influences of positions of planets and here are some of them:
- General traits are given by Sun Signs – the position of the Sun on the sky map at the time of birth;
- When visiting a Reiki practitioner give that astrological information as part of the general briefing of you know it, it’s of great value and also shows the practitioner your openness to be as inclusive as possible in your own assessment of your experience;
- Emotional general traits are given by Moon signs – the positions of the moon in the sky map at the time of birth; they are also given by the position of Venus and Mars;
- Tendencies to dream and be intuitive are given by the position of Neptune and its aspects with Venus and Saturn;
- Tendencies to independence and autonomy by the position of Uranus and so forth;
- Major aspects such as conjunctions or oppositions of planets – meaning they either are located in the same sign or at opposite locations in the chart, may also give hints on either strong energies or paradoxal behavioural patterns.
There are only basic examples useful for practitioners wishing to deepen the mapping and briefing of their client and willing to search on reliable astrological sources some information and user-friendly explanations on key aspects to be taken into consideration for drawing basic astrological charts or simply understand major influences. Astro-readings not taking into consideration Rising Signs will remain vague and give only a blurred vision into those influences. So as much as possible try to obtain at least those two basic data from the start. In our practice we do include astrological data as part of the briefing as well as we do consider it part of the parameters when reviewing the experience and the progress of the client with the treatments received. Reconnecting with our primary nature as energy being and acknowledging that we are receptors and emitters of energy does involve looking at many sources of information also beyond our own practice. Lastly, we also would like to point out that current shifts in energies, major transits of Uranus – sudden changes – in tight aspect with Pluto – transformation and regeneration – and aspects with Saturn and the Sun, make it that we all are under strong influences at this point intime of our evolutionary journey. Some peoples seem to sail through smoothly through the shifts, while others seem to have a hard time. Remember that our scenarios are unique, our karma our free-will are also unique as is our essence and our connection with the soul of the Universe. Hence we all have our own unique way to connect to these influences. As in healing, and as with a Reiki treatment it is our own decision to let events of life be interpreted with more or less parameters. Relying only on one is as narrow as eating every day the same meal. Our organism likes diversity so we do encourage you to be as inclusive as you can and navigate through the wisdom of life by reading all the signboards along the journey. Let’s celebrate inclusiveness and in so doing our connection with the central heart of the Galaxy as much as we celebrate our connection to the divine and infinite wisdom within the natural healing system of Reiki.

Reiki and Angel Therapy

Angels are messengers of God. They are loving and protective towards us. However, they do not interfere with our free will. They do let us know when there is any impending danger or circumstance we need to address. Working and communicating with Angels, channeling them etc are all part of Angel Therapy. Angel therapy maybe defined as a spiritual high vibrational healing that can be given through touch or through distance. Reiki works with everything. It is an amplifier. I have always used Angel therapy with my regular Reiki practice. I have called them to ask important questions and also asked them to help me with my healings.
There is nothing fixed in an Angel Therapy session. It may start with simple meditation and visualization and end in deep healing! Some common Angel therapy techniques are Chakra clearing, negative cord cutting, releasing fear and working with flower essences.
I devised my own method to clean the house. My home appears cleaner and more vibrant. I am breaking down the steps for everyone:

1. Sprinkle rock salt in every corner of your house preferably for 24 hours.

2. Sweep the whole salt out of the house, as it absorbs all the negative energy. I also prefer to swab the house with a mixture of rock salt and water, but that’s optional.

3. Draw a power symbol in that area to seal the new energy.

4. Invoke the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel or any other angel you want to bless your house. You can connect with HSZSN or simply invoke them by saying “ I request the presence of Archangel Michael – 3 times.

5. Request the Angels to fill the house with their light. Some of you may actually see them doing do. Otherwise, visualize them filling your home with divine light. Some people during this time also get beautiful perfume or flower like smell in their house. You may also actually see a color in the light the Angels are using to bless and clean your home. White is for protection. Pink is to keep negative people away from your house. And purple is to protect you from evil spirits and psychic attacks.

6. Lastly, don’t forget to thank the Archangels.

This whole process should take about 20-25 minutes. Clean your house this way about twice a month with Angel therapy and see the difference.

Reiki and Yoga

Reiki and Yoga are both considered as methods that can lead people to experiences of enlightenment and self-fulfillment. Both are compatible with each other and can be used together for acquiring better results. If you want to increase the flow of Reiki energy within your life, one simple method is to start practicing yoga. These two techniques assist each other for producing better results associated with both practices. Reiki can help people in understanding deeper energies of Yoga, while Yoga can increase the understanding level of Reiki practitioner regarding the energy.
Just like Reiki, Yoga is also all about balance. The word Yoga is derived from Sanskrit language that means “union”. The purpose of yoga is to create balance between human mind, spirit and body to achieve a sense of fulfillment. As Reiki treatment revolves around 7 chakras, the seven basic Yoga postures are also connected with the seven chakras.
Many Reiki practitioners who start practicing yoga reported better results with their healing after the use of Yoga. It is now an established fact that Yoga can also add to the positive results for practitioners. As yoga basically deals with the physical body and Reiki with mind, combination of both practices can help people in having better control over them.
Both Reiki and Yoga practitioners believe that the key to life is life force energy or Prana. Both claim that following their practices can help people in better flow of life force energy within body that can help in promoting natural healing. They are considered as beneficial for both mental and physical disorders. These similarities between both practices are a proof that there is nothing in contradiction between the two techniques. In fact, except of the difference in techniques, both claim to achieve same results for humans. Both practices complement each other and can add productivity of Yoga expert or Reiki practitioner. It is also observed that senior yoga experts often supplement their practices with Reiki attunement. Many Yoga experts claim that Reiki enables them to feel the flow of energy in their body and even in their daily life.
Reiki and Yoga, if practiced in combination can bring a person to a state where you can feel the divine within yourself. It can bring you to a place of stillness, a void, a clarity that enables you to achieve greater awareness about hidden divine realities around you. It is combination and synchronization of mind and body. Some Yoga experts use Reiki to fill themselves with life force energy, while yoga is used to create better flow of that energy around them in their daily life.

Chakras And Archangels

There are total of 15 archangels known to us. Each Archangel has their own purpose, but they help us in all situations when called upon with a pure heart. Like Crystals there are Archangels associated with each Chakra. Here they are:

1. Root Chakra

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Sandalphon. His main role is to carry our prayers to God, so they may get answered. He is also associated with music and we might feel his presence more when we listen to music, sing or play an instrument. So next time we want to balance our root chakra we can just put on some music, call upon Sandalphon and get our Chakra balance.

2. Sacral Chakra

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Chamuel. He also helps in love, confidence and career matters.

3. Solar Plexus
The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Uriel. He is considered as one of the wisest Archangels because of his intellectual information, practical solutions and creative insight, but he is very subtle. We do not even realize that our prayers have been answered till we have a brilliant idea hitting us.

4. Heart Chakra

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Raphael. He is associated with all forms of healing in living beings. He is also associated with travel. We can call upon him for safety and protection when embarking on a journey.

5. Throat Chakra

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Michael. He is considered as the leader of all the Archangels. He is charge of protecting us physically, emotionally and spiritually. He also helps us in cutting chords which bind us to our past memories and people, thus making moving on easier.

6. Third Eye

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Gabriel. She helps us with creativity, communicating, guiding others and nurturing our inner self.

7. Crown Chakra

The Archangel associated with this Chakra is Archangel Zadkiel. He helps us in gaining clarity, forgiving and new ideas. Also helps us in emotional healing. He with his flame can turn negative vibrations to positive vibrations.

This method is very useful when we feel too restless to meditate; we can call upon the Archangels to balance our Chakras or also when we are healing someone else.

Inner Child Healing With Reiki

The Inner Child refers to your emotional body. Carl Jung called it the ‘Divine Child’. Some call it the ‘Wonder Child’. Freud simply called it our “True Self.”
What is the inner child? It is the child within us that got lost in childhood. Our personalities are formed based on childhood experiences. Sometimes, these experiences can be pleasant. Then our inner child is happy and healed. We grow up into healthy human beings, attracting healthy relationships, healthy intimate partnerships and being good parents.
But, sometimes childhood experiences are traumatic / shocking or too painful for the little mind to deal with. Then the inner child that grows within us is angry, upset, confused, unable to attract healthy relationships etc. Unfortunately, these people blame themselves, or allow others (especially people in authority / or the ones who did the abusing!)
Two categories of personalities emerge from Inner child issues or more commonly known as Childhood Trauma. The ‘Victim’ mentality and the ‘Rebel’. The ‘Victim’ usually is a sacrificial lamb. He surrenders unhappily to the will of others, is easily dictated by parents / elders / bosses, though his inner voice or his True self may be saying the exact opposite. They blindly follow orders and live by social norms. These people are introverts and rarely have friends. They have trust issues with everyone and look at every relationship with the eye of a Laser beam!!
The Rebel is unusually brave and can take risks of all kinds. They are detached from everyone in general and have superficial relationships. They too do not trust anyone but can be friendly in a superficial way. They hardly have any close friends. They build a wall of defense around themselves to shield from hurt and they do not like to cry. When they grow up the wall becomes stronger and bigger and they are unable to break it.
Inner Child Issues can occur due to mental, physical, social, sexual, emotional, verbal spiritual psychological abuse by parents, siblings, teachers, elders, relatives, etc. The greatest myth that exists in our society is that abuse doesn’t occur in ‘well –to-do’ families. ! Scientifically the mind is most tender between the ages of 2 – 16. Most, childhood trauma incidents happen in this age range.
When an incident happens, a child’s mind is not equipped to deal with the shock. So the mind shuts down momentarily and splits into two. One which carries the incident and one which suppresses it. The one which carries it is the Inner child or your ‘True Self.’ The one which pretends this never happened or all is ok is ‘the Adult You or False Self’ you have become today. Imagine, if you are not complete inside, how will you attract a complete world outside? If you are not merged with yourself, how will you merge with your soul mate?
Yes! You already guessed the answer! HEAL the Inner Child! Number of ways to do it. These special Divine Children have lot of Spiritual help. These children are highly intelligent, creative, and psychic. They usually have spiritual parents (meaning they worship one male God and one female God). If all of this is true then you can start right here right now…..
Inner Child Issue can be healed by with Reiki. With the help of Reiki, the Issue can be treated from the Root Cause.

I have listed a few methods of doing Inner Child Healing with the help of Reiki. Here they are

1) We can treat the Inner Child by using HNZSN, SHK and CHK; if one has received the master degree can utilize DKM too. Healing should be given concentrating more on Root and Heart Chakra, stating the intention “My (or the person you are healing) Inner child is Secure and Happy.”

2) One can call upon Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Raphael to help with the healing. Simply call upon them or connect to them using HNZSN and ask them to help you with the healing. They provide love and security to the inner child and nourish the soul, expediting the healing.

3) One can also heal the Inner child with the help of Psychic Surgery Method. But one should avoid healing their own Issue by this method, as when we see our own inner Child we tend to get angry on them, this makes the healing difficult as the Inner Child refuses to co-operate after that.

Soul Mates / Soul Families / Karmic Connections

It is said between our death and rebirth, there is a time when our souls are free. All souls report to a master soul. And we have fellow souls who are called soul families. We run over our list of Karma, what we have paid, what is left to learn etc and choose our next reincarnation!
There are broadly three types of relationships we form. Soul families, soul mates and karmic connections.

1. Soul Families / Soul groups – parents, siblings, teachers, enemies, lovers, colleagues etc.

Most of us have a sibling that we are close with, a very special grandparent, a friend that has been there through thick and thin, a cousin that makes you smile, etc. These are your soul family. The often change roles in life times. In one life they might be incarnated as your brother and in the next they will come back as your son, but your feelings for each other will probably not change much. The beauty of these relationships is that we promise to find each other and be together every lifetime.

2. Karmic Connections

These are souls you have unfinished business with. They are characters in your play who will give you the opportunity to learn and expand from bitter experiences and life challenges. Their original design is to stretch you to your limit, they are the most troubling relationships. Some of your closest relationships, your biggest betrayals, your greatest abusers will be parents, relatives, teachers etc. They have chosen only to torment you. The lesson for you here is to not hate them, but to learn from these experiences.

3. Soul Mates

Most people think of this word in a very casual or romantic sense. And often people say ‘I have found my soul mate or they are soul mates.’
The topic is incredibly complex and beautiful so I will first explain the meaning of a soul mate. It is a person with whom you have shared past lives. Of course some soul mates can be Karmic connections and these are meant to end early in your life. These can be our short term affairs, lovers, or even marriages that end in divorces. But healthy soul mate relationships continue into a loving marriage.

So how does one find this Soul mate?
By becoming true to ourselves, by listening to our inner voice, our inner sense of right and wrong, no matter what society says, we heal ourselves and find the soul mate. It is after all the Law of Reflection. What is within us will reflect around us.
They say the “eyes are the window to the soul”, this is how we recognize our soul mates and they recognize us. There is a sense of familiarity, a sense of knowing the person which has nothing to do with physical appearance.
This sense of knowing happens on the soul level, because we have reincarnated in different bodies in other lifetimes, but the soul is the same, so we instantly recognize each other.
The Universe or God sends frequent messages both spiritual and practical to such soul mates, spurring them to take action. The reason for this is everything including destiny operates on divine timing and soul mates have a sacred mission to meet, to heal, to procreate and serve humanity in some way.

Reiki And Candles

Did you know that you can combine the healing properties of Reiki with something as simple as a lit candle?
Reiki healing combined with Color Candle Therapy is a wonderful and effective combination of two healing energies. The color of the candle helps to empower the intention behind the Reiki healing, and the fire from the candles helps to seal the healing for more lasting effects. White pillar candles are also used in the form of a grid around the table or mat to work as amplifiers for the colored candles and assist in the communication with our higher source for the facilitation of the healing process.
How do you combine these two powerful healing modalities? The procedure can be followed as I have outlined below, but the Reiki practitioner can also follow his or her own intuition during the healing in the interest of the intended higher good. That’s the beauty of the healing arts; there are no real wrong ways as long as your heart and intention are set on the greater good.
First, you will need a supply of colored candles at your disposal. While you can use a candle of any shape or diameter, for this type of healing therapy I recommend using the shorter four or six-inch taper candles simply because they are easier to handle than the longer ten or twelve-inch taper candles. White pillar candles should be used for the grid around the mat or table. Let your intuition guide you as to when to cleanse the colored candles, but always anoint them before use. Anointing a candle consists of rubbing a light olive oil in an upward direction towards the wick. The purpose of anointing the candle is to strengthen the color so that the energies are more vibrant and active. This is called “Dressing the Candle.”
Second, as with any healing session, you should discuss the needs of the client and set specific goals for the desired outcome. This will help you set the intention for the session, and will assist you in determining which color candle will be most effective for the healing therapy. In my own personal practice, I typically use anywhere from one to three candles depending on the needs of the client and the time allotted for the session. While conducting the healing therapy session, let Reiki and your intuition guide you as to when and how to use the colored candles over the client.
Once a candle is used for a specific purpose, my personal practice is to give the colored candles used in the healing therapy to the client. In my humble opinion, I do not believe in the recycling of items that have been used for such a personal purpose. Energies received and/or created could be easily transferred to another client by reusing such an item. This could turn out to be detrimental to both your practice as a healer and the next person you treat. Pillar candles that are used in the grid formation are for the amplification of energies during your practice and do not need to be given to the client. It is a good idea, however, to cleanse and re-anoint them before each session.
Once the healing therapy has been completed, visualize the client being surrounded by white healing light and allow the candles to burn out completely.

Ten Powerful Law of Attraction Tips

The Law of Attraction teach us to visualize and feel our goals. If we really want to manifest more of our desires, more wealth, better and more conscious relationships, and all the goals in our heart that make us want to celebrate life, we need to relinquish EVERYTHING which does not serve us and step into a realm of true magic where our attraction power is natural and effortless.

Here are Ten Powerful Law of Attraction Tips which will help to manifest your desires in most effective ways.

1. Do not be concerned over ‘how’ and ‘when’ things appear : Change comes with flow and contentment.Your only job is to be in the Flow of Life by consciously experiencing your joy and your clarity about your deepest mission and Higher Vision. Do this by giving the goodness of your Self to all beings you encounter. Give the gift of listening or a smile or kind attention to everyone around you. You can do it. Do what is fun. Be child-like. Give the gift of your innate power and goodness to others and simultaneously let this power and goodness into YOUR Heart. This will activate the Law of Attraction and Universal Flow, and it will improve the circumstances of your life immensely.

2. Access the True Power of Intention : When you practice making intentions for simple things, this will EMPOWER you in other areas. It re-connects you with the feeling and energy of intention. It is important to realize that by connecting with the feeling of space between thoughts, we contact and merge into what we most want to feel: Love.

Connecting with love empowers us to change thoughts and feelings and create pure intentions. And this love is found INSIDE us. In our hearts…..between thoughts. On one level, we do choose our thoughts. When we are conscious, we can entertain thoughts, ideas, and feelings that empower and uplift us.

To choose an uplifting thought means making an intention. You make an intention with creative energy from beyond your mind. Making an intention means manifesting an event. It’s saying, “I’m going to walk through the doorway,” and then doing it. It’s saying: “I’m going to think a new thought,” then doing it.

A pure intention is actually typing a new resume instead of just spinning our wheels about it; it’s placing a personal ad, instead of just relentlessly hoping to meet someone; it’s actually clearing the clutter from our mind and having a new, more uplifting, internal reality.
Action is intention made manifest. Love brings intention into awareness, and action brings intention to the physical realm. Thus, intention creates your experience. Intention is spiritual power.

 3. Realize Deeply You Have the Ability to Attract What You Want : When you can picture what you want, but have NO idea how to get it, then your first step is to feel the “I don’t know.” Become at peace with it. Open up to not knowing…. Take the breaks off and DIVE in!!
Avail yourself to “I don’t know”…. This is where you are. This is a thought-form. It may or may not be true, but fighting it won’t help.Making peace with it will. The belief that you don’t know how and should know how to get something or how to make something happen inhibits the Power of the Universe, which KNOWS how. In other words, the thought that you don’t know how unconsciously narrows your focus. And the way out is pure ACCEPTANCE.When you become totally okay with NOT knowing, your acceptance cuts through the thought “I don’t know” like a sword, and the Universe, WHICH KNOWS, will carry on with its plan.
Change your relationship with ‘I don’t know how,’ and you will soon find you KNOW how, and ultimately you always knew.

4. Gain Self-awareness of the Creator in Your Heart : Consider this-The part of you that really WANTS to create something, is NOT the creator in you. Wanting or needing is not the creative energy that supports effortless manifestation. On the other hand, the part of you that watches life change with a twinkle in your eye, that dreams for the fun of dreaming, regardless of circumstances, IS the CREATOR in you. This part is free, fearless, and knowing. BE this part, and you will SEE change arise spontaneously.
We all have a Universal Self. Boundless and free. This is our Heart. It is beyond the mind and body; it is who we really are. Trust there is more to you than you may have thought and give the power of creation over to this infinite you.

 5. Follow Your Joy and Stay in the Flow of Action and Synchronicity : You have to help the Universe along in manifesting things. This means taking intuitive and guided action. Be still at first… Then act from your power and joy. Less is more. Take breaks often and let the Universe move through you and show you what to do.

6. Feel and Go for the Essence of Your Desire in Every Case : Try this simple exercise right now: Think of one goal you have. Whisper it to your soul. Sit silently with this goal. Listen for the essence of it. Feel that essence. …If you want a partner, perhaps the essence is love. If you want money, perhaps the essence is freedom.Just feel the essence, the reality of the existence of your goal inside you. This is where every goal starts and finishes. This is the power of the first step, and it is where you get your power from every step beyond the first.

7. Realize that Freedom to Create your Reality Expands with Attention : Attention on circumstances you want, brings MORE of what you want.Practice “feeling into” a goal in your body/mind/emotions and giving it simple attention. Let attention fall on your goal. Consider that pure attention is ALL on the inside, in your Heart, and not your mind. Pure attention is gentle and easy. It’s like looking into a baby’s eyes. It is more about feeling than thought. Let the feeling of your goal envelope you now.BE ONE with the feeling of the end result now. This will disrupt your old patterns and jolt you into a new direction to achieve a goal.
What is the key walking in this new direction? Sensing the reality of your goal INSIDE you now, regardless of outer circumstances. Then taking joyful and intuitive action.

8. Be Willing to Use Affirmations And Visualizations in Counter-Intuitive Ways : It is okay
to say affirmations or do visualizations. But consider this-Your true creative power is beyond exercises, methods and techniques. It is like gravity. It just happens. It just pulls in what it needs.
BE OPEN TO ALLOWING AUTOMATIC MANIFESTATION. THAT IS THE KEY WHICH WILL SET YOU FREE.
Expect good things to come out of nowhere, spontaneously revealing themselves to you. Most certainly this has happened to you in the past. Good things just appear. Let it happen more.Again, it is fine to use tools or practices, just be present when you use a manifestation tool. When you take past and future out of the equation, and you feel your power in the PRESENT, and say your affirmation as if it is already a reality, you separate yourself from doubt and set in motion the fulfillment of a goal.

9. If you want to create something new, GET IN THE HABIT OF creating things you already have : Try this simple practice: Look at a cup for instance and declare: “I have a cup.” Think of a GOOD situation you are in, such as having a close friend, and declare: “I have this friend.” Let this be a meditation.Repeat mantras for things that are ALREADY manifested. Focus your creative intent on what you have now.
At first glance, this process may seem strange. But fear not, it is magical: By feeling, visualizing, and creating what you ALREADY have, this practice changes your entire reality and AMPLIFIES your power and focus to bring you what you want.

10. Create What You Want with Magic in Your Sleep : Dream time is a perfect time to help manifest a goal. Try this tonight: As you drift off to sleep, ask to become ONE with your goal, in heart and feeling. KNOW your goal is available in dreams. “I am one with money,” “I am one with health.” Whatever your goal is, breathe it in while going to sleep. Though it may not be here during the day yet, get familiar with its reality in dreams. Then, (and this is key), the next day, cultivate the ‘feeling of being one’ with your goal. How? By asking to receive it as energy in your body. You CAN accelerate your path to a goal. BE your goal in sleep and you will draw it to you in waking life.

Use all of these practices. Take them to heart and you start to see powerful results.
